Honestly, if they have proper rain tyres (and suitable setups for fixed), I don't see it being too bad. Having watched a few friends toil in rookies before making the step up, it's just another slice of the skill-pie for drivers to acquire and master.
If I were the the one making decisions, I'd build in some degree of "weather progression" behind the Class levels. For example; Rookies could only ever see damp track at worst, D could encounter light rain, C+ would be fully unlocked potential.
My only actual concern is how authentically they will visualise spray, not being able to see anything really equalises the skill curve!
I can't wait for the new UI. I hope that it will become more modular to the point the current overlays like ioverlay and racelabs are redundant
