we built an entire industry to create human killing devices we sell across the globe and we call it 'defense'. couple that with the insane idea that the united states needs to police the entire world, and you have the biggest asshole on the planet with the biggest stick.
And yet when the US tries to back itself out of the "world police" role, the same critics who accuse America of being a warmonger have a meltdown. It's a catch-22 situation for us anymore.
