Matt Mason on Paetron has recreated a ton of STL files, most of them free. The work is top notch. I use the models for my games.

I found some, on my mini factory. It seems like that will work well.
Some creators use alternate terms to disguise themselves. Things like "Western Mecha" can be helpful search terms

Side note, battletech chess set is a phenomenal idea.
It'll take some curating though. There's a lot of options. The pawns obvious, it's gotta be the urbanmech.
I assume one side is going to be clan, though.
King for the IS should be a BattleMaster, just for the name
I mean, one could go thru the trouble of customizing for house/clan.
