Looking forward to seeing more. I will reserve judgement until there is some meat on the bone.
But who I kidding, I've watched so many bad shows even if this is garbage I'll still enjoy it because it's alien.

I don't know what it is about this franchise, they haven't made a good one in 40 years IMO (unless you count the Alien Isolation game) but I'll still keep coming back and watching anything they make lol
Why?
Can't they do anything original anymore? Why does it need to get back to earth again?
I can understand where you are coming from but there seems to be a good pedigree of creatives involved with this show so I’m optimistic it will be solid.
The book series where aliens ravaged earth was somewhat enjoyable. This could be interesting. And it can pack plenty of originality depending on how they built it in details. Let’s be positive.
