That match was awesome.
And I feel the same way about Punk. It'll be interesting to see how non-chicago crowds react to him.
Less than nothing for me on the mic. I just groan because he's so fixated on such petty nonsense, seemingly with no proof anyone said anything. What I heard of the reports were really speculative and almost specifically said no one had confirmed it and his paranoia almost pulled the company apart.

Christian parading the belt around like he won it and Luchasaurus not even touching it was hilarious.
Heel Christian has been incredible at everything he does. I'm already all in on this title run. I hope Luchasaurus never touches the belt lol

i love the look and feel of the show as a whole. just gotta boost tghe commentary volume a bit on the tnt side of things

I'm like 80% sure the Punk/Bucks stuff is a work. Of course, I've been wrong about that kind of thing before.
I'm in the same boat. The brilliant u/tvchase pretty much convinced me it's all a work.
Can you give me the gist? I can't find him and am curious. I've been over punk for a while. Kingston's promo on him complaining about how he never shuts up when Willow could be having a match was amazing because it's exactly what my husband and I would say literally the exact same thing everytime Punk's music hit. But I'm up for hearing why I should be amazed by the skill of this work.
Long story short: a user on Reddit named ‘tvchase’ – someone with experience working in a newsroom – did an incredibly well researched series of posts breaking down why he thought the whole Punk/Bucks drama could be a work. They referenced old wrestling gimmicks, quotes, etc. to make their point and it was captivating to say the least.
It's well worth the read. The series is LOOOONG but as a wrestling fan it was one of the most fun things I've ever read on the internet.

Skye and Willow take it. That's two wins I didn't see coming.
If Skye could improve her mic game, she has some real potential. Or the last two matches have been exceptions and she has looked good because Toni is incredible…
Yeah, she comes across as very shy right now. Could be the fact that she's only 21 (or whatever) though.
Yeah - honestly I think it's very, very hard for someone to really get over without being at least decent on the mic. Skye seems pretty vanilla to me but I'm not gonna begrudge someone getting over in the division. Honestly, only people like Willow, Takeshita, or HOOK spring to mind as people who got over with little to no character work on the mic.
Yeah I agree. I think charisma is the most important thing in wrestling. Even more important than the actual wrestling lol.
Kinda wish they explained what the 'blind eliminator's' tournament involves. None of that made sense to me.

Good show. Juice had one of his strongest performances. Andrade/Buddy was awesome. Willow was awesome as usual! Hopefully Miro stays happy!
Good show! The matches were great and I liked the vibe of the show. Don’t know why they dragged JR out for the main event, he sounded like death.
Turns out he had a fall in the morning and flew out anyway. Probably hard to say no at that point.
I missed the first 30 minutes, pretty impressed so far. I'm pretty hyped to see scorpio sky back.
Been a good show so far. And you'll definitely need to catch the Punk promo somehow.
The show was really well paced and I really loved the commentary pairing of Kelly and McGuiness. Looking forward to next week
