Also, archive.org has tons of MIDI files. This pack, for example, has almost 170 thousand files.

I dunno, I have always liked making my own progressions. These packs defeat the purpose of that.

Okay, that's different then, rather than using prepackaged chord progressions.

yeah chord progressions are for practicing melodies, inspiration, taking in ideas. i wouldnt make a song with prepacked chords unless i had a really good reason why

Agreed. If you really want to pay money for chords get Scaler 2 or something. Still unnecessary but I do enjoy it for inspiration and studying.
