Week 5-6: Living in the Past

We will not be meeting on Sunday 8/7/2023 due to most of us being busy with travel but we are planning on meeting the next Sunday 8/14/2023.

With that, the group has agreed that our next reading selection is all of Part 3, chapters 9-13.

This post will serve as a backup on-going discussion for anyone that is not able to join us during the meeting time.

Some discussion questions to get started:

Do you think Jake did the right thing in this first trip to 1958
Will Jakes cell-phone in the lake come up again? (it is a Nokia after all)
Is the past going to get more obturate the longer he stays there?
did he cause any massive changed in 2011?

Chapter 10 was so satisfying. Jake ended up killing Frank exactly how we thought he should. Really enjoying how Jake is switching his lingo and just rolling with being in '58.
