Not in a $600 laptop it seems.
I bought mine a few years ago and paid that, was an HP though so I guess (?) but lower quality. Still surprised to see the price point the same 2 years later.
Soldered on 16GB RAM will really limit the long term potential of this device (if you want to use it for 5-10 years).
