So, this is the sequel to the original chronicles and before 2? I’m not understanding the naming convention.
It is its own thing from what I remember but it has been a while. I think they just named it that for brand recognition.
You can think of it as a spin-off. Not a mainline numbered entry, but still keeping with the Xenoblade Chronicles formula.
Disclaimer: Haven't actually played it, just heard about it and seen the trailer.
