To be clear, Thomas is the silver robot, and Guy-man is the golden robot.

Before Daft Punk, Thomas and Guy-man were part of a group called Darlin’ (Darlin' (French band) - Wikipedia) with Laurent Brancowitz, who would go on to be a member of the band Phoenix. The group only made 4 tracks (Darlin' (Full Discography) - YouTube).

Daft Punk got their name when British music magazine Melody Maker called the music by Darlin’ “daft punky thrash”.

Because of their history, Daft Punk performed live alongside Phoenix at Madison Square Garden (Phoenix and Daft Punk - 1901 - Madison Square Garden - YouTube)

Originally, the robot helmets were meant to have hair (This is not a joke, I’m serious (Today I learned how the Daft Punk robot helmets were created - The Verge)

Daft Punk’s animated movie Interstella 5555 was inspired by movies that Thomas and Guy-man had seen as children, particularly Captain Harlock. They got to work with Captain Harlock's creator Leiji Matsumoto. The film aired on Toonami on August 31st of 2001

Daft Punk has a live action film called “Electromeda” which has a soundtrack of songs that are not by them. Footage from this movie was used for their breakup announcement. (Daft Punk's Electroma - Wikipedia)

Daft Punk appear in a Star Wars themed Adidas commercial for the 2010 FIFA world cup alongside David Beckham, Snoop Dogg, and other celebrities (Daft Punk — Star Wars: Adidas Originals - Cantina (4K) - YouTube)

Eric Prydz stole the song “call on me” from Thomas Bangalter and DJ falcon (How Eric Prydz stole "Call on Me" (but someone else stole it first) - YouTube)

Thomas Bangalter is a member of the band Modjo, the band that created “Lady (Hear me Tonight)”

The band “Justice” was invited to be the supporting act for Alive 2007, but turned Daft Punk down because the manager for Justice was a former manager for Daft Punk and he decided that Justice “had to make it on their own”. (While doing research I lost the source)

Thomas Bangalter’s original home and studio, known as the “Daft House” was turned into a luxury hotel (Daft Punk Facts and Myths - YouTube)

Daft Punk used many samples in making their music, here's a breakdown of the ones in Discovery (Sample Breakdown: Daft Punk - Discovery - YouTube)

In March of 2011, Daft Punk collaborated with Coca Cola to create “Daft Coke”. The flavor was just normal coke, but custom gold and silver bottles were given out in clubs in Europe (Daft Coke | Daft Wiki | Fandom)

Daft Punks first concert “Even Further” was lost media, but some footage has been found (Daft Punk 1996 Even Further New Footage - YouTube). The concert was performed on May 26th of 1996 at the Eagle Cave resort.

There is a 30 second ad for the 2002 winter Olympics that uses “Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger”. The ad was lost media until it was found only 7 months ago. (Daft Punk (found Winter Olympics TV commercial featuring French house band; 2002) - The Lost Media Wiki)

Nice list of facts you have here, these guys have been my favorite group since I first heard discovery in high school around 2006.
