The ball end and 510 threaded interface were pressed in which would put stress on the holo tube. and I love that someone used the hell out of this probably had a jeweller or someone with access to tooling to weld it as well as put a pin in the handle to stop the 510 dropping off.

Much less exciting than I was hoping, but still, really cool.
Its utilitarian, these kits would often get included in larger kits with a mirror, bowl, soap, all in a small travel bag. The us military version came with a mirror that pulled out from the large tin.
That makes sense. Lol, don't suppose you have any examples of the larger cases all packed up and such?
