Kinda annoying that I didn’t need a hub for the interactive home widget in beta 2 / 3 but now I do? (lemmy.world)

Apple used to let you utilize an iPad as a hub. Not anymore!

I do wonder if any of the Matter upgrades mean you could find a cheap compatible hub at IKEA or something.

I’m also surprised there’s still not a “hub” app you could just leave running on an always-on computer. Seems like something Homebridge or Plex would offer.
