Archived version for posterity.

The photo was sent to the NY Times by her father "Thomas D’Alesandro Jr., a prominent politician in Baltimore" who served as mayor for 12 years, to announce her engagement to Paul Pelosi.

She hadn't changed her last name yet, so the photo was filed under her maiden name "Nancy D'Alesandro".

She looks so young in that '60s hairdo!

Some people don't appreciate the power that it takes to bring home the bacon. In this case, the federal budget dollars to improve local infrastructure.
