Okay, LT, that wasn't good.
And Quick complaining about the goal was funny.
Definitely not Thompson's best game.
Yeah. He thanked the guys for bailing him out in the locker room after the game.
I thought he did play pretty well otherwise, the other three goals were defensive breakdowns that left him high and dry, and he did have some great saves.
I thought his positioning looked questionable on the last goal. It was a defensive breakdown, but it should have still been savable.
Yeah, I feel for Quick with Ovi having crashed into the net, but watching the replay, Ovi vacated with haste, and I thought Quick had plenty of time to recover. Apparently, so did the rags' video coaches.
Yeah, I agree that Quick had time to get reset and deal with the shot. In fact, he did deal with the shot, then missed the rebound.
And what do you know, a challenge went the Caps way!
Result: Caps win, 7-4, with seven different goal scorers.
