Demake - When a game is remade for a generation older than itself.

What is a demake?

A demake is a Game that's purposefully built as if it where conceived and produced during a previous hardware or software generation.

Rules:

  1. All post in some form should be related to the community topic at hand, may it be directly talking about demakes or adjacently.

Does this look AI generated or assisted to anyone else? The exact shot for shot scenes and twitchy polygons are my reasoning. I don't remember the shader changing during animations, either.

ps1 textures and stuff where all twitchy and screwy depending on the title
i dont recall a single title that ever had zero in it

You can easily see what a huge difference there is with duck station.
Let's you toggle two options to basically remove the texture warping.

I can't speak to the rest, but the wobbly vertex morphing is a classic hallmark of ps1 graphics.
