I liked this episode, but both this week and last week felt like setup for the finale.

Doctor Phosphorus's backstory was so simple. Tragic, but simple. (Bonus Batman was nice.)

The preview for next week shows, unsurprisingly, that we're getting Nina's backstory. I hope there is enough time (or maybe a secret double length episode).

A double length episode would indeed be a pleasant surprise, but if that was the case, they would have made it an eight episode season instead.

Surprisingly, I found that this episode juggled the main story and character flashbacks much better, while still moving the main story forward within the same 20 odd minutes as the other episodes' runtime. It becomes more contrasting in comparison with the previous episode.
