Microsoft QA has been replaced by Bing-ChatGPT? With all the recent failures with security updates, you’d think so.

Sounds like a feature to me

Back in the Windows XP days, not geting security updates was a death sentence for a pc. Even on a dialup internet, it only took minutes to get infected.

People used to argue for Windows over Linux because of its reliability, but nowadays it seems like the reverse is true. I can't remember the last time my system broke for a reason that wasn't my fault, whereas Windows is constantly in the news for pushing some dumb bug that should've been caught during testing.

I’m a windows user (also Mac and various flavors of Linux).

I’ve not had any issues with Windows since I installed 11. I rarely had issues with 10 and 11 seems just as stable.

So, MS should fix it? Seems like that's entirely within their power as owners of the codebase.

so if one for some reason wanted to install windows 11, how are you even supposed to do it if you cant use any installation media for it? Just buy new pre installed computer every time? microsoft sure has started to dig after reaching the bottom
