Adjusting for inflation, the tower would be $10,120.84 in today money. The amount that compute has fallen over the decades is incredible. We can manufacture supercomputers that live on our wrists compared to 1988. This, and health science, are probably the only two things that I love about being alive today.

duuuuuude this was my first non apple machine. the turbo button pushed it from i think 12 or 14 to 16mhz

banner printing on an old panasonic tractor-fed dot matrix printer
first voice synth! trying to get it to pronounce vowels/complex words was fun at the time

The turbo button actually slowed a machine down, not up. Common misconception.
