Note: I'm cross-posting this on behalf of the OP (see link above)

This is a VERY cheaply built knife, so much so that it's barely worth keeping, let alone carrying. There's not even a pocket clip on it.

BUT, this combination of form and features is EXACTLY what I've been looking for (with a tip-up clip, that is) in a daily carry folder. The handle and finger protection is there, the blade and handle length fit a perfect middle ground for fighting and practicality, it even has a fuckin Emerson style wave that they don't even bother advertising.

Unlike most wave openers, this one is set VERY far back, is slightly oversized, and doesn't have anything forward of it (discs, pegs, etc) to prohibit getting your full blade length.

So if this wasn't so GODDAMN TRASH, I would call it perfect. I haven't seen anything yet, but if there is a brand-name, high(er)-quality knife that is basically this, PLEASE let me know.

I also came here to suggest the CRKT, but that obviously lacks the wave-ish opener.

There's also the Boker Defender which is perpetually displayed in a tip-down carry configuration but the clip can indeed be flipped.

Uh, or the Cold Steel Luzon?

Prepare for sticker shock, but the handle design on many Emerson knives does, I'm sure you're aware, evoke rather the same upper/lower guard sort of arrangement albeit generally with a very inset index finger notch. Some have an extended flipper which covers this area further, e.g. the Sheepdog leaps to mind. So does the original CQC-7.

Edit: I believe this knife is supposed to have a clip on it, or perhaps the OG of it does and this is another one of those situations where the Chinese clones have dominated the retail space. Or maybe it's a clone, too. But check this out, if that's a rabbit hole you feel like descending. All the instances of the usual Aliexpress/Amazon/DHGate/etc. motherfuckers hawking variants of this consistently depict it with no clip. (I even found it on HUAAO's site.) Moreover if mine eyes doth not deceive me, they don't even have the mounting holes for a clip. But the variant above does...

Edit edit: Want to gamble $60?

Similar but with a bit of serration:

My daily carry is a Muela from Spain, but it doesn't have the finger guards you want:

Just googling for pocket knives with dual finger guards I turned up a brand called "Dispatch", and I was like "Well that looks like cheap re-branded Chinese trash..."

Yup! "DeHong".
