And sometimes you're like "I really have to go to bed at 12, and the game got boring too, since i'm tired" and the brain just "No, do something else".

If I'm not careful my sleep schedule will slowly start to rotate around the clock. I've done a full cycle on two separate occasions and it gets really weird feeling, but the hardest part is the social aspect. First, people have zero understanding and get weirded out by it. Second, it's very difficult to keep any sort of social schedule when your sleep schedule shifts too much from the norm, but I suppose night shift people already have that issue. Also, not really knowing when you're waking hours will be several days to a week out can be really frustrating.

Sleep issue suck and most people who have never experienced them before think it's super easy to fix by just being in bed at a set time, getting a weighted blanket, or some other silly suggestion they may come up with.

Lol, it's now nearly 4am and I have been awake for about 2 hours, after having fallen asleep around 11pm but waking up desperate to pee. I'm waiting for some food to heat up and will be having my main hot meal of the day within about an hour, before going back to sleep for 4 hours at most before I need to pee again.

The alternative is being too tired to have any food or drink earlier in the day so sleeping through for like 12 hours, only to wake up feeling more tired and weak than ever.

Each option will normally snowball over several days until they switch for a few days/couple of weeks and then back again.

The chronic pain-chronic fatigue-weak bladder combo sure makes for fun times! 🙄

If I get to bed before like 4 I don’t feel like I’ve really experienced all the evening has to offer, y’kno
