Pettar's videos are great 👍 The whole deliberate dodging of tracking & maneuvering airspace is telling. It's heartening to see the collective minds & collaborative efforts working to find the plane.

The best place to sit is where you can access an exit:over the wings or close proximity to either the forward exit or the rear exit.

There isn't such a thing really. Any of the exits can be blocked or become inoperable depending on the emergency situation. It's all dynamic. The best you can do is always listen to the cabin crew. They are not only there to board you and serve you drinks, they have proper emergency training and are invaluable crew members.
