The new version of freetube added a extra big play button on videos whenever you stop, play, pause, or hover the mouse over the video player. I found it quite annoying.

Today I discovered in Settings, Player, "Display Play Button in Video Player" - removes it!!!!!

You are a saint. Sometimes, all you want to do is pause the video so you can take a screenshot.

Omg thank you.

Now does anyone know the hotkey+scroll(or whatever) that changes the player window size? My cat stepped on my keyboard and I can't find the combo again.

No, like the size of the video player within the just base UI. I can't find it in any documentation and I've been trying anything I can think of. Its one or two keys and the scroll wheel which makes the video window larger or smaller within the app.

Ctrl+scroll?

I like the play button being there but I'd rather it go back to being small.

i suspect they changed it to avoid any possible youtube trademark confusion, the old small button looked exactly like the youtube icon on youtube.

This change came when they switched from the old player to this new one, I always figured it had to do with that.

Bonus TIP: If you use mullvad VPN setup freetube to use the socks5 proxy - this GREATLY reduces the bot detection issues youtube has been doing lately.

Wait, wait, wait.

Can we take a moment to discuss what the fusgesicle is going on in that video?
