It never occurred to me until just now: in all those super hero movie scenes where the mortal is zoomed upwards by the hero, why don't their ears hurt from the pressure change?

Nah. Look at the work Henry Cavill put in for his first Supe appearance. No baggy, padded out suit required. Just good drugs and work ethic.

This guy looks like a Superman who grew up listening exclusively to Dashboard Confessional.
