There wasn't time. When Biden stepped aside 7/21 there was exactly one month before the Democratic convention and even that date was problematic for a couple of states due to registration deadlines.

not to mention, it was herculean just to get her instead of Biden; and there's no way that Biden was going to be any better.

Oh, Biden would have done far worse! That's what I was saying post debate... Biden can't win and Harris won't win.

Harris could have.

But then she didn’t do the things that would have helped her. (And she had the stupid people that lost Hilary’s campaign….helping with hers)

She really needed to put some daylight between her and Biden on Gaza, for example. (Both because it was the right thing to do, and because of politics.)

I was gonna say I thought it was the progressive movement to have her run instead of biden.
