Palma: Kobo app missing from volume buttons settings? (self.onyx_boox)

I've noticed the volume buttons do not change pages when in the Kobo app on my Palma.

In the device Settings->More Settings->Short-press Function, the Kobo app doesn't even show up in that list, which is weird.

Anyone have a workaround for this?
