X defiant was actually pretty good, however, Ubisoft's strategy was VERY dumb. They courted the content creators by eschewing SBMM, which garnered some initial momentum, but in an age where everyone and their mother makes live service shooters, there simply wasn't enough there to generate staying power and content creators quickly jumped to the next ad read. It's a shame because the actual moment to moment gameplay was better than COD surprisingly.
