Isn't Zelda one of the worst characters? I haven't checked a tier list in a while but I can't imagine she's gotten that much better

She's mid, definitely not one of the worst characters. She has a decent variety of options in her kit compared to little mac, ganon or dr mario, who all die if you take their jump
Zelda is mid tier wise. I’d say little Mac is one of if not the worst characters.
I'd say honestly that Isabelle is a low tier character, probably one of the lowest. Without items, she's severely neutered and with reflect moves, the remaining half of her moveset is jeopardized or ruined. I'd put Zelda as "high middle class" mid tier.
Little Mac is balls lol
I generally rather like Inkling in all regards, but there are 2 functional aspects of the character I dislike at present.

Their kill power is seemingly balanced around getting decades to charge smash attacks via roller. It feels nigh-impossible for the character's smash attacks to kill at reasonable percentages without first burying the opponent with roller. Burying is generally a bit of an unfun mechanic, and Inkling's weak smash attacks basically forces you to rely on burying to charge them. If I could, I'd change roller to simply floor opponents rather than burying them, in exchange for generally boosting the kill power of their smash attacks.

Splat Bombs have a habit of launching at unpredictable angles. I've had a fair few instances where a splat bomb explosion has launched the enemy towards the explosion's source. That's just generally weird, and makes them somewhat hard to play around. Other explosion's like Link's remote bombs don't seem to do this, so what's Inkling's excuse?
The former point is definitely beyond what would be changed in an update unless they suddenly decided that all buries are evil, but the latter point probably isn't.
Ganon. Even though he's pretty fun to play (especially at low level), being an heavy clone of falcon just seems like a waste of potential to me, I'd like to see a new moveset for him.
Also Lucario, his kit seems so uninspired and bland.
Whether steve should be nerfed or not is debatable, but he sure needs to be fixed
I had moved from my OG main, Ganon, to Jiggly and I was floored at how weak Ganon truly is. He can kill me in 3 hits but he is so slow, has so many lag frames, no shield to body attacks, and I can dance around him as Jiggly. At high tiers though, his short hop bicycle kicks are brutal in the right hands
