In my city they keep tearing down the condemned houses, rather then selling them at cost, and letting a new owner put some life into it.
Detroit evicted people over inflated, unpaid tax bills after 2008 instead of adjusting the assessment to permit people to stay in their houses.

I mean, their logo has "conservative" in it. And they use pseudoscientific terminology to refer to trans women. The title and the entire text (well, I stopped reading before the end) are clearly written to fearmonger landowners into punching down.
