That's misunderstanding the issue, which is weird because it's referencing the real issue: It's the economy, stupid
When people are struggling, focusing on anything other than helping the working class will lose you votes, because people care about that above everything else. Wars, identity politics, whatever, they're all irrelevant. Focus on how you'll help the working class above all else and you'll get all the votes you need.
What do you mean? Billionaires are doing just fine, so the economy is great! We don't have to do shit! Now where were we? Oh yes, there are still living Palestinians, and that can't stand.
