If anyone else is unable to post to this story, you have to set your language as English before it will let you post.

I think if the original post is set as English then Lemmy only allows English posts/replies, but the default is to not set posts as English.

It's unfortunate that most apps don't bother to include the language drop down.. nor does the website typically inform you of the reason for an error. Lemmy is a WIP I guess.
