Sonic & Knuckles marks its 30th anniversary and to celebrate we take a look at Sega’s unique platform title and show off a wonderful collection. Released on 18th October 1994, Sega were on a high after the huge success of Sonic 3 for the Mega Drive released earlier in 1994.

I was always a huge knuckles fan so couldn't wait for this release and actually being able to play as him, got it just after release for Christmas!

The bonus of playing him in the older games with the special cart was even better, gliding across chemical zone like it was nothing! The practice for the special stages using sonic 1 was great too!

Best character in that universe hands down for me!

I played so much Sonic 3 & Knuckles.

Also quite a bit of Sonic 1 & Knuckles. i.e., the blue spheres game.

Sonic Spinball triggered the Bonus game selection, too

Spinball is the most underated, untalked about Sonic game IMO. I do a play through every other year or so, it really is great!

One of my favorites as well! I'm going to have to break out the Genesis again to get another playthrough

Sadly I had to sell all my original hardware but I might have to break out the emulator, it has been a while!

I sold my OG's as well, then lucked into a Genesis, Sega CD, and a 32x at a yard sale w/ about 10 games for each for $50.

I ran away smiling!
