Very nice. I'm interested in seeing a closeup of the star sapphires. They look unpolished and I haven't seen that before.

Oh snap. It looks like nothing!

I will see where I went wrong and try again. I might just make a kbin account and go from there instead.

Sorry i dont know what im doing and thank you for pointing that out. :)

No worries, I think we're all figuring this stuff out together, lol. For what it's worth, you can see the image after clicking on the post.

I will try to edit the header until i can may redo the post more properly, or something.

Edit: I pasted the link to the picture in the header. Did that work?

I don't see picture previews for your post. I think that's probably why it's not getting attention. Maybe try editing the post to say "picture in comments", or reposting a different way (I don't know what your post options are on Lemmy)?

I would love to see some close ups of some of these!

I collected most of this when I was about 13. Let's just say it's been a few decades.

Its not the biggest or the best, and most of the specimens are small, but I thought I could put it to some use since it's been there just gathering dust. I haven't really gone through everything in years.

Most of everything, I believe, is labeled correctly, but, please let me know if something is mislabeled.

The specimens in the front seem to have escaped the cataloging, save the opal and the malachite on the right, that I just didn't have a label for. Maybe if someone would be so kind to help with identification, it would be greatly appreciated.

I'll try posting random close ups regularly, but it obviously wont take too much time to get through the whole thing. If there's anything someone wants to see close up let me know.

Thanks
