Might be worth reaching out to the Lemmy World admins.
I don't see why there would be issues with federating to the incremental.social instance.
I haven't touched anything, nor do I see any community-specific federation options. To my understanding, community-specific federation filtering doesn't exist.
IMO, this shouldn't be happening.
