Miko's album just dropped but I'm confused about how to buy it. I don't have a CD player, is there some way to buy it digitally?

That's sadly a bit how it is. Analogue media is big in Japan, and it's probably hard to justify shipping stuff without a CD or LP. It'll be on streaming eventually, maybe iTunes or the like, but otherwise you'll have to CD or merch or something.

ototoy.jp is my go to, you will need a VPN to buy any music from holo there though

I also use that site for other music! But for hololive songs it just says not available in your region

That's what you need the VPN for, just set it to Japan and you will be good

I've had the same issue. I'd like to support the artists, but the music is only available as physical media or for streaming on sites I can't use or don't want to give money to.

My current plan is to support them by buying unrelated digital merch, such as voice packs. Though if too many people do this it will distort with their metrics, so it's not a great solution.

I've bought some of Hololive's stuff on qobuz.com, where I buy most of my digital music. You just need to search for the Japanese name. Seems like they have stuff from Miko, but not her newest album. They'll probably have it a little later though.

I have been trying to throw the money at my screen to no avail. Can you be more specific?

Sure.

You give Hololive your money in exchange for the music!

Is there a specific ablum you're trying to buy, and are you sure it is available in your destination country? Is it a physical or digital good?
