I'm excited but also concerned. This is going to be the make or break session for me. If we don't start getting some answers soon I'm going to consider this another Lost and walk.
From (TV Series)
This Magazine is intended for posts about the show From, an American science fiction horror television series created by John Griffin for Epix (later rebranded as MGM+). **Show Description:** Unravel the mystery of a city in middle U.S.A. that imprisons everyone who enters. As the residents struggle to maintain a sense of normalcy and seek a way out, they must also survive the threats of the surrounding forest.
I agree that if this drags on with no answers, I will be frustrated. But I believe the showrunners said they had a plan for 5 seasons, so personally, I will be along for the ride at least that long. Even though it drives me crazy it is so much more entertaining than most other TV shows.
Yeah season 3 is the midpoint. If they don't start answering some questions about the the mythology this season I'm going to drop it.
The same thing happened with Dark. Halfway through the first season and they just kept piling on mysteries without any real clues so I gave up. When the show ended I looked up what was going on and it was so stupid.
That said a lot of production is great. Unlike Lost or Dark I actually like a decent number of the characters. Harold Perrineau and Elizabeth Saunders are both shockingly good actors. I even think the Matthews kids are both good and I usually dislike child and teen characters.
But then there is the constant not sharing of information that is the lazy mystery writer's crutch. The keep using the I'm not sharing because what I've seen is crazy. After all they have seen in this town other characters would at least entertain what you said.
Welcome to the torture of waiting for the next episode.
I'm sure coming up with theories will keep us occupied...or drive us insane. Either way, cheers to new episodes.
