I thought this would be a good reminder as well. While I am not a father myself, I spend time with mine usually, doing whatever he has planned for the day. We're not really much for exchanging cards and such. I think time spent together is an ample way to spend the day overall.

Are you planning anything? What do you usually do for fathers day?

I'll be spending the day with my daughter and wife after video chatting my parents. We live by the water so likely we will go swimming and get some ice cream

Oh, that sounds nice, should be a good day then. I haven't stopped by an ice cream stand yet this year, should do that before the season is out for sure. Usually I go for moose tracks if they have it.

going to take the FIL to a restaurant - hes in from his home state on the east coast. Also, going to go to a nice nature walk maybe with the in-laws in the morning

I will also go visit my dad in the nursing home.
