Come to think of it, indeed he looked quite different, or maybe because of the moment of the screenshot (hence could be unintentionally misleading). He looked focused there, no sadness nor doubt (like Clint too was/is).

Maybe he still retained partial programing but fixed in Wakanda, which could be activated, but he would be in control. Which would be cool, his own Deadpool Maximum Effort mode, his Winter Soldier mode when greatly needed.
For some reason, he has the most forgettable face to me. I can see him, and immediately forget what he looks like. He could be shaking my hand, introducing himself as a star of the MCU and I'd still ask his name if I saw him 10 minutes later. Tom Hardy is another with the same problem for me.
