The blue button in the bottom right of the app to mark read doesn’t seem to work too good for me. Is it me or is it not that useful.

It only seems to hide a single post when the scrolling stops but hitting it every time I stop at a post is kinda repetitive.

Is there a way to change it to mark read all posts above? That was super useful in Apollo.

Thanks for all the development so far it’s a killer app!!

It’s not for marking read. It for hiding posts which have been marked as read from the feed without having to refresh the feed, and thus loose your place.

Thanks for this explanation. Am I right in that posts are not marked as read unless you click on them and open them?

There are a couple of ways to mark a post as read - opening the post is one way, and voting is another. I think viewing a picture in the feed also marks as read.

Viewing an image, for me at least, is bugged and not making those threads read even when the option is selected in my settings.

You can control the settings. Settings ➡️ content ➡️ hide read posts
