A big "Thank You!" to all the first responders that are called into harrowing situations at a moments notice. Especially today, as NY firefighters continue to struggle with health issues related to their support after the 9/11 attacks. The number of FDNY lives lost from illnesses since 9/11 now exceeds the death toll of 343 from the day the Twin Towers fell.

Today I decided to run Tusk a bit "dry" to see how it treats me. It's the type of soap that seems to be ready to use right after loading, with minimal need for additional water. You can certainly add a bunch of water if you want, but it doesn't need it, and apparently doesn't benefit from it.

The residual slickness was lacking, but the shave was a lot more comfortable compared to the shaves of the past few days where I added a lot of water.

So, my final verdict is that Tusk works best when it's not sopping wet, but don't expect lots of residual slickness. The importance of residual slickness is, of course, debatable, but I tend to do a lot of buffing so I like there to be some.

I haven't had a Weinis Wednesday in a minute. It's a tricky scent in Casa Djundjila, because a spritz of the frag every once in a while will get me compliments and attention from the missus, but I can't repeat it too frequently or use more than one spritz lest I be accused of smelling of a) cat piss, b) a whorehouse, or c) all of the above.

I've dared the full trickhole today and haven't been accosted yet. 🤞

It's so good. I had multiple of those moments today when you catch a whiff and stop for a second to soak it in :)
