With Russia using chem weapons, the allied countries need to drop limitations on the use of weapons by Ukraine and increase weapons shipments. That will send a clear signal that this shit won’t be tolerated.

Biden won’t because he’s an ossified boomer and still thinks of Russia in CW1 terms.
Unfortunately, I think the earliest chance of a significant positive change in US policy vis a vis Ukraine will come after Harris is sworn in. It’s deeply frustrating, because I very much understand the tactical exigencies of the current situation, but Biden is more or less (wrongheadedly) paralyzed in that sense.
