My older colleagues looked at me like I was crazy, when I told them during a meeting that 1) they shouldn't communicate work stuff using their private messenger/Facebook 2) they shouldn't respond to messages outside workhours. I thought I was suggesting some healthy boundaries, but I just got labeled as "too lazy to give a tiny bit of your free time". We need this shit codified, or else the "sacrifice-yoruself-for-work" generation won't listen.

Yeah i never did. The fact this had to be written into law is a serious concern, it shoulda been covered by fairwork.

American here. I grant myself the Right to Disconnect whenever I’m not on the clock. Then again, I’ve never had an important or salaried position, so…
