Why is there an app for borgar king...?

For the customer, (actually quite good) coupons. For the company, data collection.

Sounds like exploitative relationship

I've lately taken an issue with all 7 billion club cards for different stores. Like every fucking shop has their own club card to offer you cheaper shit, and you're just expected to have the card or you'll pay for premium.

Adding an invasive mobile app on top seems like someone pissing over your dead body

Yeah, but at least you get a burger with your data being stolen, most company's won't even do that!

It is, but at least it works, unlike that crap of McDonald's app with bloated garbage.

Damn good coupons in fact. The app is frozen with Insular in my "normie stuff lol" second phone.

Decent coupons that ALL these restaurants used to have available on a website/email/mailer campaign without needing to install an app with permission to access everything on your phone just to get a free medium fries once a month or whatever

Every program attempts to expand until it can read mail. Those programs which cannot so expand are replaced by ones which can.

Tbf, I'd trust them both about the same with my personal info.

How about opening a media file to view/play in a email client?
