There are pills like this for type 2. Been so for a while. It was a pain in the butt before with pills that worked regardless of if you ate or not. It was like Halloween every day trying to keep things in balance back then (eating sugary things to bring my sugars back up). Progress

Interesting. I just started Metformin and it sucks ass. The results are noticeable as early as day two but the side effects are harsh.

I was only truly started on Metformin not long ago (I'm in my 40s). Added to Januvia to help it better perform. Frankly, I didn't notice any side effects. I'm sorry to hear you did. I once was given Metformin to try by itself, but it didn't work well for my diabetes. I hope you find something that works and is tolerable! 🤞

Wasn’t this invented by some hobbyists that hacked an old vulnerable model of an insulin pump and the manufacturer wanted to shut them down?
