You know, I bet if we tried real hard, we could think of other ways of preventing overdoses that doesn't put the blame on the lack of a last resort in arms reach. That's a real slippery slope. "There was no narcan." "The narcan wasn't in the room." "The narcan hadn't been refilled since the last person." It's just going to be a never ending list of reasons someone can blame literally anything else. We need to fix the opioid problem. In the mean time, sure, put narcan on the campuses, but you can't just blame a lack of narcan for your loved one's overdose. I bet there were a few other things that could have happened on the way down to prevent it.

Kids are going to use drugs at school. Drugs are going to have fentanyl when you least expect it. We need narcan available

I'll quote myself:

In the mean time, sure, put narcan on the campuses

Just so we can see that we agree with each other. Yes, put narcan in the areas where people are doing drugs.

My beef is that the mother is blaming the lack of narcan for the overdose. No. I'm sorry. That's like jumping off a building and getting pissed that no one put out airbags for you to land on. Sure, we can put airbags at the bottom of every building, but maybe we should figure out a way to make jumping off of them a little less attractive.

I agree with the last guy, sure go ahead and put narcan everywhere, but I don't think we should blame a school for a death if it isn't available.
