...but they have a strange habit of keeping quiet if you are a skilful serial killer or have a high status position so they don't tell anyone about your heinous deeds (child rape and abuse) and damaging improprieties.

It's strange.

They have always been watching.

Everyone believes what they say, automatically takes the gossip for gospel, but they scoff at me when I say I am a mindreader or fortuneteller.

I guess I just haven't told you exactly yet:

I know what you* did

and I know where you're going.

*you = them, (if) dear reader. They're just projecting.

If being attacked by the god-damned ectoplasms were "ordinary," then there would have been a Warhol of it (iconic, mass-produced tin cans, etc) and then people could get some 'tang over it!
