I liked the print as it was kinda retro colorful, so I sewed it into a bag with toggle closure and belt loops. The canvas belt is also a revived old belt I got 25 years ago. My mum made me the little labels (I had to edit my name off them for the internet!)

That's from necklace making parts. I have some and never thought to use them like that.

Oh dang this is rad and like exactly what I should do, but the fabric I have that I would use is some antique Navajo woven cloth so I should probably hand sew it with a matching yarn. Or find some other cloth because its almost tuna and piΓ±on season. Is the bottom a oval or is there some curve to match how it rests against your leg.

I recommend trying with a boring fabric first. I was lucky it worked out on the initial go, but it's a little fiddly getting the 'D' shape of the bag.
