So, is Eternity ever going to get updated or not? I keep seeing talk about it, but still no update

Yes, it's going to be updated very soon

I find this a bit confusing for the users. The version in the google app store is 0.2.0. It was released on the 1st of august 2024. But the changelog in the app store and on codeberg.org refers to version 0.1.2, which was released 10 months ago. So there's a new release, but no one seems to be announcing it.

The dev has commented on this issue that 0.2.0 was released on Google Play as a beta version.

Yes, I've released it as beta so that Google Play users can also try the new changes before the release. These builds are similar to the nightly, but I have to build them manually so they are updated less frequently.

Its a little annoying that the only place I can get the new beta release is through google play.

You can add the nightly build repo to f-droid/droid-ify.

I think it's just one guy working on it, so it's not going to be fast. He started working on it again since 2 months ago or something.
