Hi all, this is a thread to discuss KBin, including our general thoughts on the platform and features that are missing or not working. I am hoping this will help us determine KBin's long-term viability for ARMY as well as keep each other informed about what might not be working correctly at the time (as this is alpha software and wobbly).

I was checking the sidebar of one of my other magazine subscriptions (@magASEAN, for Southeast Asian posts), and saw that they had a TAGS portion. This made a number of hashtagged posts appear on the microblog section of the magazine. I wonder if that's possible here, or if #BTS and related tags are just too huge to access.

@pixiecata Yes it's possible to add them to the magazine - but I decided not to at least at first, because I thought the flood might be a lot. We could experiment with adding a more specific tag that we can use to push stuff to here I guess.

@pixiecata Are those hashtags used to identify the magazine? Or are they used to help find tagged threads within the magazine?

Oh, federation with Mastodon works, 12 November 2023! I managed to see the notification with the photo in my timeline. Very good.
