If countrys want to ban ICE by a certain time frame, we need cheaper EVs (we need transit too). Build an EV that just gets people from A to B. It doesnt need an 8 inch touch screen infotainment system. It can have manually adjusted seats and roll up windows. It doesn't need software that listens to my conversations and detects what other devices I bring with me. It doesn't need "self driving" features.

But how can we monitor and track everything about a driver’s behavior, location data, and entire life so we can sell it to anyone willing to pay if we don’t make them do everything through some crappy vendor locked in interface? Why do you hate innovation/america/democracy/investors?
