I know it doesn't matter, it's the name that sells here, but is the album even good? I haven't given it a shot, but from everyone I talked to, it's mediocre at best with some songs being terrible.

I've been a big Eminem fan from and during his early days, then mostly forgot about him. You're supposed to listen to it start to finish, since it tells a story of how his Slim Shady persona was terrible for his health and family life. He essentially brought him back one more time for (IMO) a terrific album, and sounds fresh out of 2002. He's still got it in his 50s, easily my second favorite album from him.

I've really been enjoying it but I grew up on his music so I guess that's expected to an extent. I saw some chatter online that talked about listening to the album in reverse order and how it changes the context of the story but all of the nuances still work. It definitely does, and I think the reverse order is actually my preference.

Anyway, IMO its a crazy, fun album with a lot of lyrical thought put in with the context underneath of alter egos and decades of call backs to previous works and interactions.

Dunno. Hardcore Eminem fans love his wordplay and rhymes, not so much the "music" as it is commonly understood. I would go so far to say that lyrical rap is more like public speaking than singing.

Maybe this the year of the Eminem v Taylor Superbowl?

Or the year of the Slim Shady x Kelce sex tape.

Your suggestion is more likely.

I think I dislike both equally.

Does this mean Taylor Swift is available for Veep?
